We offer a no-nonsense, high quality approach to building and servicing your bike. This means you (and we) can rest easy knowing that your pride and joy is expertly serviced and cared for, and will provide safe and reliable operation.
At TCR, we have no nasty surprises either, if something is amiss or needs replacement that costs more than $10, such as a worn/stretched chain, we'll give you a quick call to let you know and get your approval before proceeding.
We offer a range of services, from a basic service to full build to order work.
Base service $60.00 inc GST
Our basic service includes:
- full low pressure bike wash and degrease
- safety check and adjustments for brakes and gears
- check chain for stretch
- bike lube
time spent on bike: approx 1 hour
Deluxe Service $100.00 inc GST
- full low pressure bike wash and degrease
- skewers lubed
- remove and lube front/rear derailleurs
- true (straighten) rear derailleur hanger
- safety check and adjustments for brakes and gears
- remove crank set and bottom bracket
- cut and face bottom bracket shell (so your bottom bracket sits square in the frame if not previously done)
- remove, check, lube and replace chain ring bolts
- remove, lube & grease brake calipers
- check and adjust head set
- all bolts on bike removed and greased
- check chain for stretch
- bike reassembled
- all adjustments made to manufacturers specifications (torque settings)
time spent on bike: approx 2-2.5 hours
Bike build $200.00 inc GST
- All of the labour for a deluxe service
- This service is for assembly of any product/components not purchased from TCR.
