Triathlon pre race checklist

There is nothing worse than that sinking feeling of panic when you arrive at a race, look in your race bag, and realise you've forgotten your goggles/bike shoes/helmet. Use this handy triathlon checklist to make sure you have all your gear, ahead of time!

General

  • Map to get to race site
  • Registration pack from organiser (if received before race day)
  • Timing band
  • Spare clothing
  • Money
  • Car keys
  • Warmup clothing
  • Race clothing
  • Sunscreen
  • Vaseline/anti chafing cream
  • Thongs/Sandals/Footwear
  • Spare running shoes for warmup (if req'd).
  • Nutrition: squeezies, gels, bars
  • Recovery drink (post event)

Swim

  • Goggles
  • Spare goggles
  • Lube/body oil/canola for getting wetsuit on
  • Gloves/plastic bag for getting wetsuit on
  • Swim cap
  • Towel


Cycle
